There is no need to worry about finding fresh cranberries, as this cranberry sauce uses dried cranberries year-round for a delicious homemade cranberry sauce.
Step 2: Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered for 15 - 20 minutes. The craisins will become plump and soft.
Step 3: Remove from the heat and discard the cinnamon stick.
