Cooking Up Memories

Fiesta Ranch Crackers

Fiesta Ranch Crackers are a zesty appetizer that can be made in just under 30 minutes. These cute little nuggets are perfect to accompany adult pre-dinner cocktails and they satisfy starving kids as a tasty after school snack.

Plain Oyster crackers don't bring much to the party, probably because
they were invented to serve with a cup of soup or chowder. They remind me of a crouton, but for soup.

My Fiesta Ranch Cracker recipe is simple, satisfying and suitable to keep on hand in a sealed bag or jar for days -- if you can hide them well enough!

This fun little appetizer is inexpensive to make and can be whipped up in just minutes. Plus, I think they are super cute too!

Gift basket worthy

A mason jar filled with Fiesta Ranch Crackers, tied with a festive ribbon makes a great hostess gift or addition to a gift basket of any kind.

Other ways to serve

Fiesta Ranch Crackers are great on the top of any Mexican flavored soup or they give the perfect crunch for salads that have a southwest flavor combination.

Freeze and storage

I often freeze leftover crackers in a plastic freezer bag. They won't freeze solid and you'll be able to eat them immediately. They'll stay fresh in an airtight container for about one week, no need to refrigerate.
