Chewy Cinnamon Sugar Cookies

Chewy Cinnamon Cookies are thick and chewy with a cinnamon-sugar coating and a classic cinnamon roll powder sugar icing.

What you will need:

Taco Seasoning

Butter Brown Sugar Sugar Egg Vanilla Salt Flour Baking Soda Cream of Tartar Cinnamon Powdered Sugar Vanilla Milk

Preheat the oven to 350ºF.  In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon and set aside.

Let's make cookies!

In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand  mixer beat butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.  Should take approx. 4 minutes.

Beat in the egg and the vanilla.

On slow speed, mix in dry ingredients until well combined.

Shape the dough into 1" balls and roll through cinnamon sugar mixture.  Place on baking sheets lined with parchment. Bake for 9-12 minutes. The lighter in color the chewier the cookie.

While the cookies are cooling make the  icing. Mix powdered sugar, vanilla and milk.  Add milk until you get the  desired consistency. Drizzle the icing over each cookie.
