To a large bowl add, 1 pound cooked crumbled bacon, 1 small diced onion, 1 tsp garlic, 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 cup cheddar cheese and 1 cup monterey jack cheese.
Mix all the ingredients to combine and set aside.
Cut off the top of the bread, keeping in mind that you will use this as a lid when cooking the dip.
Hollow out the center of the bread to make room for the dip.
Pour the dip into the bread bowl, cover with the lid and bake for 1 hour.
Serve immediately.

Store leftover dip in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Leftover dip would be great served over a baked potato!
