Bolognese Sauce Ingredients

Step 1: In a large Dutch oven, large skillet, or large pot, cook onion, carrots, and celery over medium heat until they soften. About 5 minutes.

Step 2: Add garlic and ground chicken, and cook, breaking up with a wooden spoon until no pink remains. Step 3: Add wine and simmer until most of the wine has evaporated. About 10 minutes.

Step 4: Add chicken broth, whole milk, tomatoes, tomato paste, bay leaf and spices.

Step 5: Simmer over medium-low heat for 1 hour.

Step 6: Cook spaghetti according to package directions making sure it cooks al dente.Toss until the pasta is coated in the sauce or serve over pasta. Garnish with fresh basil and finely shredded parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.
