SAUTE ONIONS AND PEPPERS

Sautéed onions and peppers create a rainbow of bell peppers, sweet onion! 

Ingredients You'll Need:

Bell Peppers Red, yellow and green Onion White or red Minced Garlic Vegetable Oil Lime Chili Powder Cumin Oregano Black Pepper Salt Cayenne Pepper Optional

Cut the bell peppers and onions into thin strips.

In a small bowl, chili powder, cumin, oregano, black pepper, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt until well combined.

In a large cast iron skillet heat oil, garlic and spices. Over medium-high heat, cook for 1 minute to let spices bloom.

Place the bell peppers and onion into the hot pan and toss to evenly coat with oil and spices.

Saute peppers and onion until tender-crisp, about 10 - 13 minutes, stirring occasionally. Finish with lime juice.

Serve immediately with chicken, skirt steak, shrimp or pork fajitas meat.
