Grilled Asian Pork Tenderloin

Grilled Asian Pork Tenderloin is juicy, tender and sure to be a weeknight dinner staple with its sweet and spicy glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Pork Tenderloin
  • Green Onions to garnish optional
  • Sesame Seeds to garnish optional

Rub

  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder

Sauce

  • 1/3 c Hoisin Sauce
  • 1/4 c Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Mirin
  • 1 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 c Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions

Spice Rub

  • In a small bowl combine 2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  • Place pork tenderloin on a baking sheet and pat dry.
  • Sprinkle spice rub evenly over both sides of the pork.

Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup Hoisin Sauce, 1/4 cup Soy Sauce, 1/2 teapsoon Mirin, 1 1/2 teaspoon Sesame Oil, 1/4 cup Honey, 4 cloves garlic minced, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, and 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes.

Grill

  • Clean grill with canola oil and preheat to 350 degrees F.
  • Grill pork tenderloin for 2-3 minutes per side before rotating. Continue cooking and rotating on the grill until the internal temperature of the tenderloin reads 145 degrees F. Should take approx. 20 - 30 minutes.
  • Baste two tablespoons of the sauce on each tenderloin 2-3 minutes before removing from the grill.
  • Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes. Drizzle leftover sauce over sliced pork tenderloin.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
