Hi, I’m Jill, the founder, and culinary creator here at Cooking Up Memories, where you’ll discover classic dishes with a Midwestern flare the entire family will love. Whether it’s for big celebrations or everyday moments, this site is all about easy-to-prepare, homemade, kid-friendly recipes made with simple, wholesome, everyday ingredients. These recipes are perfect for potlucks, BBQs, tailgating, and any occasion that brings the whole family together!

My lifelong love of food came from learning to cook with my grandmother at a young age and continued with a business I created and ran for 12 years that supplied busy moms like myself with delicious dinners, appetizers and desserts.

That business aimed to help families get dinner on the table with easy-to-prepare food that everyone would enjoy. And though my medium has changed, my message hasn’t: I still love to help you find wholesome, homemade, family-friendly meals you can make quickly and your whole family will love.

From hearty potluck casseroles like my Easy Baked Ravioli Casserole or this Cornbread Cowboy Casserole to kid-friendly meals like Air Fried Boneless Tenders and an Easy Lasagna Casserole. Here you will find simple and accessible recipes that have been inspired by friendship, family, and of course, a love for good food.
