Honey Bourbon Wings

Honey Bourbon Wings

Honey Bourbon Wings with a simple salad make a light, satisfying dinner.  Plus, because they are baked, they are easy to make and much healthier than a fried wing.

Smart Chicken wings in the fresh aisle are my favorite.

BBQ Spice Rub:   Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.   This spice rub can be used on pork, beef or even fish.

Place chicken wings on baking sheet in a single layer, evenly spaced, not touching one another.  Sprinkle more rub as needed. Bake for 40 minutes turning at the halfway mark.

·  Dip each wing in Bourbon sauce and return to baking sheet. ·  Bake for an additional 5 - 10 minutes until sauce begins to caramelize and set.

·  Serve with extra sauce for dipping.

PRO Tips: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.  This will make clean up so much easier! Start with a dry wing for a crispy finish.
