Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Chicken
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/3 cup Breadcrumbs Italian or Plain
  • 1/4 cup Onion diced
  • 2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until well combined.
1 pound Ground Chicken, 1 Egg, 1/3 cup Breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup Onion, 2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning, 2 cloves Garlic, 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, 1/2 teaspoon Salt, 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • Roll the mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F for 3-5 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer, leaving space between each for even cooking. Work in batches if needed.
  • Air fry the meatballs at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the meatballs halfway through cooking (around the 5-6 minute mark).
  • The meatballs are done when the temperature has reached 165 degrees. Use a meat thermometer to check that the meatballs are cooked through.
  • Remove the meatballs from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, over pasta, or as an appetizer.

Notes

  • Avoid Overcrowding: If your air fryer is small, cook the meatballs in batches for even browning.
  • Light Spray of Oil: For a crispier exterior, spray the meatballs lightly with oil before air frying.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days and reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes.
  • Bake in the oven: Cook at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
