Baked Boursin and Sausage Cheese Dip

Soft and creamy Boursin cheese is baked with spinach and cherry tomatoes and then topped with fresh basil and red pepper flakes to make for the ultimate dipping experience.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Spinach Pack the spinach
  • 1 ½ cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 5 ounce Garlic & Herb Boursin Cheese
  • ½ pound Italian Sausage
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper
  • Garnish Fresh Basil
  • Garnish Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Brown Italian sausage until all of the pink is gone. Drain sausage on a paper towel and set aside.
    ½ pound Italian Sausage
  • Layer spinach, Italian sausage, and tomatoes in a small baking dish. Add the Boursin cheese to the middle of the dish. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    2 cup Spinach, 1 ½ cup Cherry Tomatoes, 1 5 ounce Garlic & Herb Boursin Cheese, 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil, ¼ teaspoon Salt, ¼ teaspoon Pepper
  • Bake uncovered for 15 - 20 minutes or until the tomatoes burst.
  • Garnish with red pepper flakes and fresh basil and serve with bread or crackers.

Notes

  • Make sure to pack the spinach tight, as it cooks down quite a bit.
  • Don't forgo the fresh basil and red pepper flakes.
  • Watch the dip as it cooks. The cooking time will vary depending on the size of the cherry tomatoes.
  • Lightly spray your casserole dish with cooking spray, so clean up is easier.
