Homemade BBQ Spice Rub

Use this homemade BBQ Spice Rub to turn up the flavor when grilling pork, chicken, fish or beef.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Dried Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl and combine. Store any extra seasoning in an airtight container.

Make a Big Batch (You Will Be Glad You Did)

I always recommend doubling or tripling this BBQ rub. It saves a bunch of time and is so helpful to have on hand for those last-minute grilling nights. Store any extra in a mason jar or an airtight container and keep it in a cool, dry spot.
The rub will stay good for up to 6 months, but for the freshest flavor, try to use it within 2.
