  • 1/2 teaspoon Corn Starch
  • 1 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon Mustard

Instructions

Meatballs

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, bread crumbs, onion, BBQ spice, garlic, salt and black pepper.
1 pound Ground Chicken, 1 Egg, 1/3 cup Bread Crumbs, 1/4 cup Onion, 1 1/2 teaspoon BBQ Spice, 2 cloves Garlic , 1/2 teaspoon Salt, 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray or use parchment paper to keep the meatballs from sticking. Roll the mixture into small meatballs and place on the baking sheet.

  • While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the sauce.

1 tablespoon Brown Sugar, 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar, 1/4 cup Ketchup, 1/4 cup Bourbon, 1/2 teaspoon Corn Starch, 1 cloves Garlic, 1/2 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • Removed meatballs from the oven and toss them in the BBQ sauce. Return the meatballs to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Serve extra sauce as a dipping sauce with the meatballs.

Notes

    • If you are looking for a fast way to make cocktail meatballs consider using bags of meatballs instead of making homemade.
    • Make larger size meatballs if you prefer.
    • Double or triple the recipe for a big crowd.
    • The sauce should coat the back of a spoon and continue thickening as it cools.
