Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Chicken Breast
  • ¾ cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Chicken Base
  • ½ teaspoon Oregano
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to the instant pot. Give everything a little mix to combine.
    2 pounds Chicken Breast, ¾ cup Water, 1 teaspoon Chicken Base, ½ teaspoon Oregano, ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder, ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Cover with the lid and select pressure cook or manual for 7 minutes, followed by an 8-minute slow release.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks. Add the chicken back into the cooking liquid.
  • Serve while warm or cool the chicken and store it in an airtight container for meal prep.

Notes

Flavor Variations: Add a packet of taco seasoning for a Mexican twist or Italian seasoning for an Italian flavor.
Use the Liquid: The liquid left in the Instant Pot is flavorful and can be used as a base for soups or as a broth in other recipes.
