WHY YOU WILL LOVE THESE WINGS
When it comes to chicken wings, I never turn them down. And since these Cajun wings are baked and not fried, there is no guilt to indulging in some chicken-eating fun.
I think we can all agree that eating chicken wings is not only filling, but it's really quite fun as well. I love to see how people eat their chicken wings. I always clean all the chicken off each and every bone and secretly judge those who leave ANY of the delicious chicken behind. (c'mon, who doesn't!)

HOW TO MAKE BAKED CAJUN WINGS
Cajun Spice Rub
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Wings
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Place rinsed and dried chicken wings in large bowl. Starting with a dry wing is key to getting the wings crispy.
- Add olive oil and the Cajun Spice Blend to the wings. Mix until wings are well coated.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. This makes clean up simple and easy.
- Place chicken wings on baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Turn each wing and continue to cook for an additional 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and place on serving tray. Garnish with lemon and green onions. Serve immediately.
IS IT BETTER TO BAKE OR FRY CHICKEN WINGS
Baked wings are so good I don't know why you would want to fry them. It's certainly healthier to bake wings over frying and it's so easy using the oven.
Wings do not get quite as crispy, but they will be more tender and juicy in my option. As long as you have your oven at a high enough heat, the wings will be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with HALF the fat.
HOW TO REHEAT CHICKEN WINGS
It's great to make enough wings so that you'll have leftover wings for snacking later.
Reheating wings is easy and if done right, they taste like they are fresh out of the oven.
Place wings in microwave and cook on high for 30 - 40 seconds. Depending on how many wings you are reheating.
Next, get a skillet very hot. Add wings and heat while flipping constantly. The wings should turn out crispy on the outside and warm on the inside.
DIPPING OPTIONS FOR CAJUN CHICKEN WINGS
Even though these Cajun Chicken Wings do not require a dipping sauce, you can always enhance and change up the flavoring if you don't mind dipping your wings.
Some of the most popular dips to use for chicken wings are:
- Ranch dressing
- Blue Cheese dressing
- Hot sauce
- Garlic Butter Sauce
And the list goes on and on.
