Healthy Cottage Cheese Toast Recipe Ideas

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Sour Dough Bread
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese

Optional Toppings

  • Tomatoes sliced
  • Strawberries sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Balsamic Glaze
  • Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Lemon zest

Instructions

  • Set the oven to broil. Slice the bread, brush with olive oil, place the slices in the oven, and toast the bread until golden brown.
    4 slices Sour Dough Bread
  • Take a generous amount of cottage cheese and spread it on each piece of toast.
    1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • If using tomatoes, place tomato slices on top of the cottage cheese. If using strawberries, slice them and layer them on top of the cottage cheese, along with some lemon zest.

  • Sprinkle the strawberries or tomatoes with basil leaves and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
