Indulge in the timeless elegance of a refreshing Rum Collins cocktail. This classic drink combines the zing of freshly squeezed lime juice, the sweetness of simple syrup, and the effervescence of sparkling club soda, all harmonizing beautifully with a generous pour of light rum.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Light Rum
  • 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
  • Club Soda
  • Garnish w/ Lemon and Cherry

Instructions
 

  • Squeeze the juice of one fresh lime into a cocktail shaker or mixing glass.
    1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • Add rum, simple syrup, and ice cubes to the shaker.
    2 oz Light Rum, 1/2 oz Simple Syrup, Club Soda
  • Strain the mixture into a tall Collins glass filled with ice cubes and top off the glass with club soda, adding enough to fill the glass.
  • If you are not using a shaker, give the cocktail a gentle stir with a long spoon to combine all the ingredients.
  • Garnish the drink with a lemon and a cherry and serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you don't have any rum, make a Tom Collins by adding Gin or a John Collins by adding bourbon.
  • Make ahead and relax during your next party.
