Honey Bourbon Baked Wings start with a smokey BBQ Spice Rub and finish with a sweet bourbon sauce. With a hint of spice and a sticky, caramelized finish, these wings are an irresistible treat for any occasion.

My husband and I adore chicken wings. Honey Bourbon Wings with a simple salad make a light, satisfying dinner.
We also make my Oven-Baked Hot Wings all the time. I use the same baking technique on both styles of wings, and they come out perfect every time. Wings are our favorite go-to food for the football season!
Ingredients

- Brown Sugar
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Ketchup
- Honey
- Bourbon
- Corn Starch
- Garlic
- Dijon Mustard
BBQ SPICE RUB
- Smoked Paprika
- Garlic Powder
- Celery Salt
- Brown Sugar
- Dry Mustard
- Salt & Black Pepper
- Onion Powder
- Cayenne Pepper

How to make Honey Bourbon Wings
Step 1: Prepare the BBQ Spice Rub
- Combine all of the spice rub ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Wings
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Thoroughly dry the chicken wings, then place them in a large bowl.2 pounds Chicken Wings
- Drizzle the olive oil over the wings and sprinkle the BBQ spice rub over them. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle any remaining BBQ spice rub over the wings.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, flip each wing and bake for another 20 minutes to ensure they are perfectly crispy and cooked through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the bourbon sauce.
Step 3: Make the Honey Bourbon Sauce
- In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, honey, bourbon, chopped garlic, and Dijon mustard.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Let it cook for about 10 minutes until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 4: Finish the wings
- Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and dip each one in the Honey Bourbon Sauce, making sure they are well-coated.
- Place the sauced wings back on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce caramelizes and sets.
- Serve the wings hot with extra Honey Bourbon Sauce on the side for dipping.

- 1/4 cup Honey

- 2 cloves Garlic Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
Instructions
