How to make bourbon barbecue sauce
Step 1: To a small sauce pan, add brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, honey, ketchup, bourbon, cornstarch, garlic, and Dijon mustard to a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Turn the heat down and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
The sauce should coat the back of a spoon and continue thickening as it cools.
Step 2: Let the sauce cool to room temperature before storing it in an airtight container.
